to the dear families in newton,
    as the new year approaches, people everywhere are getting ready to put their pasts behind them and welcome new beginnings. for some of you, this will not be so easy. but, i believe it will get better. here's to hoping we forget about the tragedies, the sadness, and the tears. here's to a new year, and here's to really remembering and honoring the beautiful souls that are, sadly, no longer with us. please don't forget the good things. never forget the good things. i wrote a letter a few weeks ago. hello again. i don't know if anyone will be reading these, but i want you to know that there are people in this great big world that care very much about you and wish for your happiness to return to you in time.
