Dear community of Newtown, CT. and to the Sandy Hook Elementary,

Life is beautiful, I never want you to forget that. No one will ever be able to tell you "why" the events that happened their took place, but you will always have people that will be their to support you. Whether we are close to you, or far, our humanity is what binds us together at times of joy, and especially at times of tragedy. It is important that you do not lose sight of the opportunities you have to continue to grow as individuals, and as a strong and loving community. Sadness is not a feeling to fear, it is a recognition of a more joyful time that has passed. But just as the tides  ebb and flow, so too will joy fill your hearts once again. 

Especially to the children, know that you are loved by every single person in the world. That is your special gift as people in the world we all share, and all of our hearts and prayers are with you. We love you all.
