Dear Families of Sandy Hook,

I am not sure exactly how to console you, but I just wanted to let you know that you will never be alone. You will never be alone to bear the pain of what happened, for there will always be many people and many families like yours grieving with you and standing by you. My family is just one of those many families that will be there for you, no matter what. My hope for you is that you may be able to take this loss and turn into a gain of strength and determination. Take this opportunity to become better and stronger human beings for yourself and, most importantly, for the adults and children whose lives were lost during the tragic event. Make them proud. I know you can do it and so does the rest of America.
