They were all so young; bright and unwavering like stars in the night sky. I can't even tell you how much it pains me to see the faces of these people and of the children who are smiling in the photos like they have all the time in the world. These people had their lives cut short; the sadness and pain and tears will never completely leave us, just as the physical absence of the wonderful beautiful souls lost to a single man will never be entirely forgotten. But their memories live on--they transcend us--we will cherish the time they spent here and keep them in our hearts forever.

Dear Sandy Hook, Knowing that this happened breaks my heart. Nothing is more terrible. USA has no idea what it feels like but it still will never be forgotten. I have been praying for you guys all the time and millions of people are praying as well. Many tweets, Facebook posts, and instagram photos have been online and there are still many being posted at this very minute. At my school we have a program called Rachel's Challenge. A couple years ago there was a school shooting and the first student to die was a young lady named Rachel Scott. The police found her diary and she drew a lady with seven tears streaming down her face, and seven people died in that shooting. We honor her each year in Stand Up Day, where we stand up to bullying like she did. She was loved by so many people. We love each and every one of you and we hope that you will stay strong throughout the next couple of months. I will never stop praying for you. The 20 children that died are in heaven now and watching over you, encouraging you guys to stay strong. This situation has impacted each and everyone of our lives and we love you forever. XOXO.

Dear Newtown, CT, Even though you do not know who is writing this letter, just know that you are all our heroes. I look up to each and every human being that was in that building that day that was a victim of this horrifying massacre. My prayers go out to all the families that were hurt by this even deeply, and to everyone in the town who had to experience the aftermath of this. Just know that you are in everyone's prayers all around the world. All 27 victims are now looking down at us and blessing us; we can think of them as your guardian angels and will be able to protect you, and help you through this rought time. Stay strong <3

Stay strong. It is so very unfortunate that at this young age children have to be exposed to the harsh realities of the world, unable to revel in the innocence of childhood. However, know that, no matter what, you are not alone and you will be able to overcome this. You have the prayers of the world. All the best.

To the families of all the victims, whether it be the vulnerable children or the brave teachers and employees, I want you to know that the world is behind you all, every step of the way. The amount of pain and suffering that you all feel is indescribable and to say anything to try and alleviate your pain is too short of understanding how all of you feel. The President, The Nation, and The World know your story now and I will pray that there will be a change to all of this. God bless each and everyone of you. "Death ends a life, but not the spirit."

Dear Victims, Families, and Friends of the victims, What happened was a tragedy that we as Americans will never forget. The little children who passed away and to the little kids who will forever be traumatized are in our hearts. The teachers and the families as well. I hope something like this will never ever happen again. I'm praying that time will heal the pain this has caused many people. God Bless you all <3

Dear family, friends, neighbors, and acquaintances of victims of the recent tragedy, There are no words that can express my deepest condolences for your losses. Nothing seems like it could possibly be enough. All I can offer you now is a hope for you to stay strong. We understand this is a terrible, terrible loss. But like with all wounds, you will find a way to heal. As you say one last goodbye to the beloved children and heroic adults lost that fateful day, I hope you find closure. It will take some time, and much pain, but I hope that one day you find peace. You have every right to be angry, confused, mournful, and everything else you must be feeling right now. We're all wishing you good thoughts, hope that the community can find a way to heal. Much love, Daphne
